God Honest Truth is a Messianic ministry based in Western North Carolina. Our goal is to spread the good news of Messiah Yahushua to the entire world and to teach the truths of Yahuweh’s word to anyone seeking to further their education and walk in faith.
We know that each of us may have BEEN a Jew or a Gentile before coming to Messiah, but that we are all one and the same now in Messiah. We are now all Messianic/Christian.
We believe in accordance with scripture (Qorintiyim Aleph (1 Corinthians) 14:34-35) that it is the duty of men to have authority in their own homes over their own families and to teach them themselves. Any particlar organization does not have authority over any particular family unit. It is the husband that has authority over his family, Messiah (not a church leader) has authority over the husband, and Yahuweh has authority over Messiah (Qorintiyim Aleph (1 Corinthians) 11:3).
Likewise we agree with scripture that it is our duty and true religion to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world (Ya‛aqoḇ (James) 1:27). In accordance with this we also understand that it is our honor and duty to not only teach the men and women who are married with families, but also those who are unmarried and may not have a biblical head such as a husband/father.
We believe in the inerrancy of scripture and that scripture alone, not any church decree or any word of man, can define what is and is not salvation.
We will always strive to do Biblical things in Biblical ways instead of allowing the traditions of men to get in the way of scripture.
